How we work
Every engagement starts with your situation and what your team is dealing with. What follows is built around that. Here's what's available.
How working with us goes
A free 30-minute call
You tell us what’s going on and what you’d like to change. We’ll tell you straight whether we’re the right fit.
A plan built around you
We put together a short proposal covering who’s involved, what we’ll do, how long it takes and what it costs. Nothing starts until you’re happy with it.
The work itself
Coaching, a workshop, a keynote or a longer programme. Aidan leads it, and brings in our associates when a programme needs more hands.
Afterwards
Workshop groups get a companion workbook to keep the ideas going, and we check in to see what’s stuck and what needs another look.
Coaching and mentoring
One-to-one and team coaching, built around what you're actually facing. Individual sessions work on your goals, your blind spots, the patterns quietly costing you performance or peace of mind. Team coaching does the same work at the level of the team. It brings an SLT or exec group into a structured, ongoing conversation about a shared challenge, such as a leadership transition, a long spell of pressure, or a gap between how the team says it operates and how it actually behaves under stress. Both are practical and evidence-based.
This is for you if: you want focused, confidential support to perform better under pressure, as an individual or as a leadership team working through something together.
“One of Aidan’s real strengths is his ability to understand why people behave and react in the way they do, and to explain this in a way that is both insightful and very practical. He helps people recognise their own behaviours and communication styles, and identify the small changes that make a significant difference.”
— Alice Gregan, Corporate Finance Director, Langtons Professional Services LimitedConference Talks
The best conference sessions change how people see something they thought they already understood.
Aidan’s talks do exactly that. Drawing on the latest in performance psychology and neuroscience, and delivered with the directness and energy that keeps a room engaged, they challenge assumptions about how thinking actually works and give delegates practical tools they can use the next day.
Available from 20 to 90 minutes, for audiences of 20 to several hundred. Every talk is shaped around your event theme, sector and audience.
This is for you if: you want a keynote speaker who’ll add something real to your event.
Workshops
Structured, practical sessions that give a team or organisation a shared language and tools they’ll keep using. Topics are built around what matters to your people: resilience under pressure, psychological flexibility, communication under stress, decision-making when it counts. Every workshop is grounded in evidence and turned into something your team can use on Monday morning.
This is for you if: you want to upskill a team or group in one focused session, with practical tools they'll still be using weeks later.
“I’ve sought his support for five years across leadership, trauma management, and staff wellbeing, and he consistently delivers.”
“Aidan delivered exactly what we needed — a keynote that gave our team practical insight into building a genuine high-performance culture.”
— Conor Henry, Event Lead, Healthcare at Home— David Hartley, Assistant Chief Constable, South Yorkshire PoliceConsulting
Programmes fail. Products miss the mark. Change initiatives stall. Often, the reason is the same: the human element wasn’t properly understood at the design stage.
Behavioural science tells us a great deal about what shifts mindsets and changes behaviour, and much of it runs counter to assumptions. Malleable Mind offers consulting support to organisations developing products, delivering programmes, or going through change, bringing that psychological insight in early, when it can make a difference.
This is for you if you’re designing something that needs to work with human behaviour, not against it.
Facilitation
Some problems can’t be solved in a workshop. They need a space where difficult questions can be asked without the conversation getting derailed by emotion, seniority or habit.
Facilitation provides that space. Using structured processes to surface root causes, challenge assumptions, and build real agreement, we create the conditions for a team to work through what’s actually going on and leave with a clear plan they own.
This works particularly well for teams dealing with stress, conflict, underperformance, or a big change, where the presenting issue is rarely the whole story.
This is for you if your team has a problem that talking about hasn’t yet solved.
“His passion, enthusiasm and skill for communicating concepts and developing rich and interesting sessions is obvious to those who meet him. His content is sound and well-informed, and he’s able to speak about complex and relational thinking with ease.”
— Rebecca Coles, Head of Organisational Development, Engagement & Inclusion, The Christie NHS Foundation TrustElite Sport
At the elite level, the margins are small. The physical and technical gaps between competitors narrow the higher you go, so the mental game matters more and more.
Malleable Mind works with individual athletes and sports teams to develop the psychological skills that translate to performance when it counts: managing performance anxiety, building mental resilience, operating effectively under extreme pressure, and creating a high-performance team culture that holds when the stakes are highest.
This is for you if you or your team are technically ready and want the mental skills to match.
“As a professional rally driver, the margins between winning and losing are incredibly small. The physical side is important, but at the highest level it’s your mindset and wellbeing that makes the difference. Aidan helped me develop the mental tools to perform under pressure, stay present, and trust myself when it mattered most. Our work together played a significant role in helping me win the 2024 British Rally Championship. I felt calmer, more focused, and far more consistent throughout the season. Rather than getting caught up in results or external pressures, I learned how to execute what I could control, stage after stage. I’d recommend Aidan to any athlete, leader, or high performer who wants to unlock another level of performance. I’m incredibly grateful for his support.”

Brands, apps and digital wellbeing products need psychology content people can trust, written and on camera, from someone with real professional authority behind it.
Malleable Mind provides both. Aidan is CGX’s chartered psychologist, responsible for all the written psychology content across the app. He’s also presented video content for Imatta, including pieces on understanding depression and anxiety, plus interviews and therapy-related conversations with figures such as footballer Aaron Lennon.
This is for you if you need psychology content, written or on camera, that’s credible enough to put your name behind.
“Aidan has been a valued part of CGX from day one. He brings so much knowledge and enthusiasm to the content he creates for our community. His writing makes psychology clear, approachable and relevant to everyday life, which is something I really value. His passion shines through in his work, and he consistently brings care and professionalism to everything he does. It is a joy to work with Aidan and to see the contribution he makes to our community!”
